These stamps were produced by the Portuguese post office to celebrate the Euro98 exhibition. The special commemorative sheet shown below was contributed by Mario Cachao. It contains two 100 escudo stamps, featuring Calcidiscus leptoporus and the diatom Tabellaria sp. See also:
